In today’s world, computer skills are no longer optional but essential. Whether you're applying for jobs, preparing to study a new subject, or simply trying to keep up with the modern world, having a strong foundation in digital skills can open countless doors.

That’s why IT Academy STEP Cambodia is excited to launch our brand-new Computer Literacy Short Course, an 8-week program created specifically for people who are new to using computers or who feel unsure navigating digital tools.

This course is especially helpful for anyone planning to join our Software Development or Graphic Design programs but may feel they need more confidence using a computer before diving into more advanced training.

What is the course all about?
The Computer Literacy Course is a beginner-friendly program taught in Khmer and designed with simplicity, practice, and real-life relevance in mind. You’ll start with the very basics, learning what computer literacy means and why it matters in everyday life. From understanding the parts of a computer to installing apps, organizing files, and using software like Google Docs, Excel, and PowerPoint, we cover it all in a way that’s easy to follow and practice.

You’ll also learn how to safely browse the internet, manage emails, protect yourself online, and understand your digital footprint. Toward the end of the course, you’ll be introduced to cloud storage services like Google Drive and OneDrive, beginner design tools like Canva, and even get a glimpse of future technologies such as artificial intelligence.

The course ends with a small final project where you’ll create a digital portfolio to showcase what you’ve learned, a great way to see your own progress in action.

Who should join?
This course is perfect for:
- Individuals with little to no computer experience who want to build digital confidence.
- Anyone looking to prepare for future studies or jobs that require basic computer skills.
- Future students of our professional programs who want to start with a strong tech foundation.

If you've ever felt nervous or unsure about using computers, this is the safe, supportive, and structured environment you’ve been looking for.

When and where?
The course runs from May 31 to July 19, with weekly classes every Saturday from 8:30 AM to 11:20 AM at our Toul Kork campus. It lasts for 8 weeks and includes a total of 16 sessions (22 hours). The entire course is taught in Khmer and costs just $120.

Cambodian Youth Live Online Today’s Khmer students spend most of their time on Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, and Telegram. This is where trends start, opinions form, and buying decisions happen. Traditional marketing like flyers or banners, barely reaches Gen Z anymore. If a brand is not online, young people simply ignore it.   Businesses in Cambodia Have Changed Many Cambodian businesses have shifted to online selling, social media promotion, and digital ads. You don’t know who saw your banner or if it worked. Digital marketing allows businesses to track views, clicks, engagement, and sales. Companies prefer marketers who understand data and performa
