IT Academy STEP Cambodia is part of the STEP IT Academy network, which has been running since 1999 and now operates in more than 20 countries. We are accredited by the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport and authorized by Microsoft, Cisco, and Autodesk. We teach professional diploma programs in Software Development, Computer Graphics & Design, Digital Marketing & Communication, and Digital Business & AI, plus short courses and programs for kids.

WORKING SCHEDULE

Monday to Friday. You can pick whichever schedule suits you:

• 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, or
• 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM

You may occasionally need to work on a weekend when we have a graduation event or a workshop.

• You can shoot and edit short-form video on your own.
• You are comfortable in an editing app of your choice, preferably CapCut.
• You know what makes someone stop scrolling: a strong hook, tight pacing, clean vertical framing.
• You can walk up to someone, explain the idea, and get them relaxed in front of the camera.
• Fluent Khmer and enough English for communication.
• You hit deadlines and can keep several videos moving at different stages.
• Based in Phnom Penh and able to work on site at both branches.

• Shoot and edit 2 to 3 short-form videos a week for Instagram Reels, Facebook Reels, TikTok and YouTube Shorts.
• Bring your own video ideas and write short scripts, based on the monthly content calendar.
• Film around campus: classes, student projects, instructor tips, campus tours and behind-the-scenes moments.
• Talk to students, alumni and instructors on camera and help them relax while filming.
• Edit with captions, subtitles, music and simple effects, cut for vertical.
• Keep raw footage and finished videos organized so the team can find things later.
• Cover academy events on video, then cut a summary short-form video from the footage.

• Camera and microphone: we have a DJI Osmo Pocket 3 and a mic you can use. You can also shoot on your own phone when the quality holds up for that scenario.
• Editing setup: use your own laptop, or we can give you a desktop at the office.
• Editing software is your choice, though we would prefer CapCut so files are easy to hand over.
• A monthly content calendar, plus support from the marketing team on direction, captions and feedback. There is still plenty of room for your own ideas.
• After you pass probation, you can take any of our short courses for free.
