From a student with a passion for design to a Senior Graphic Designer & Senior Photographer at Blue Veranda Studio, Song Sophut has built a career that blends creativity and technical skills. His journey started at IT Academy STEP Cambodia, where he enrolled in the Computer Graphics & Design program to develop his expertise in digital arts and visual communication.
“The project-based work allowed me to step outside of my comfort zone and try new things,” Sophut shares. “Instead of just following theory, we worked on real-world projects that pushed us to explore different design techniques, tools, and creative approaches.” This hands-on experience gave him the confidence to tackle complex design challenges in his professional career.
At Blue Veranda Studio, Sophut’s role goes beyond just graphic design, he also takes on photography projects, capturing visuals that complement his design work. His ability to combine these skills is a direct result of the well-rounded training he received at IT Academy STEP Cambodia.
